For the record I have received a reply from Mr Freeman concerning the Acosta well.


The work on Acosta should be carried out this week. An acid tratment will be tried first. Other options include a sidetrack to move away from the kill fluid.

It seems the Camerina section is not sandstone but a carbonate and as such may not be impacted by the kill fluid.

Whilst this blockage is unfortunate it seems the Acosta well could still produce dependant on the reulsts of the remedial action.
