Unlikely to be straight up T/O in my opinion.
It will be more around buying a >5% stake, and based on what BHP offerred to Solgold, we can expect between 14c to 25c.
Typically in that scenario, SP will trade at a premium to what BHP paid for, ie. if BHP paid 14c then you would expect SP to be at decently higher than 14c.
Nothing is impossible i guess, Newcrest is dead pissed with Solgold mgmt and looking to sell their stakes there due to disagreement over funding mechanics, so perhaps they are looking at us, and buy it outright rather than just a 10% stake given their bitter experience there?
