If genuine supernatural levitation is possible and has happened, nobody has been able to prove it. Especially when most people now own camera phones, capturing images and videos of accidents, assaults, killings, meteorite strikes, etc, etc, but not one genuine case of levitation.
Many people are poor observers....ask ten witnesses to an event and you're likely to get multiple versions.
Eyewitness accounts are not entirely reliable, which is why police, law courts, science, etc, values objective evidence.
