Weatherzone site still says up to 50 ml till mid next week at Rosebery, Tas. We here in sth vic have had 20 to 30 ml today which is in accordance with weatherzone predictions. BOM sites can be misleading I have found.

New graded ground on this site would need some settling..esp judging by recent photo where soft pools of water showed in front of screened heaps. Anyway, contractors on site would know their stuff.. I trust their judgment. Imagine, fully loaded 40 tonne trucks, or thereabouts, need NO chance of bogging. This is not yet an established work site, although it should become more so with more grading and settling after this early rain. All new roadwork requires grading, Wetting and rolling before ready to take fully weighted, continuous loading and travel. This rain will be a benefit in near term I think.

We may get more detailed reporting from management in near future, esp after a week or 2 of continuous trucking.
