It’s the same in Japan and South Korea, they run all their systems on Optic fibre, very fast and instantaneous transaction clearing immediately.
The reasons why the other social media and payments apps are banned in China is because they want their own apps to thrive and survive making profits for their own country.
The same reason why buy ‘Aussie Made’ is always being promoted here.
Z1P UK seems it’s up and running, we should see an announcement this week regarding thia and possibly maybe Ebay UK partnering.
