That's interesting. Same thing happened to me twice in one day. I had a bid in for quite a large number and suddenly someone sold me 1 share. Later in the day another sale of 1 share. At the end of the day I had increased my holding by 2 shares at a cost of 1 cent. Someone playing funny buggers maybe? Possibly trying to dissuade people from bidding by costing them brokerage for nothing. It didn't bother me because it was just part of a standing order.
Who knows? With all the algorithmic trading and manipulation that goes on the ASX has become a very opaque market IMO.
