That said, following the widespread abuse of Melbourne's' earlier Stage 3 restrictions, Andrews has been steadfast about the need for the curfew to enable Police to do their jobs.
Only time will tell if Melbournians remain cranky about the curfew as Murdoch Mouthpieces and hard-core Liberals work hard to undermine COVID-19 restrictions aimed at enabling Melbourne to beat the virus and to open as normal as possible and as soon as data demonstrates that's sustainable.
