There are now about 40 cases a day, and about 2/3 of active cases are in aged care or healthcare workers. The spread in the community is now minimal, has been all week. Yes the desease is exponetional, but Its not a 'state of disaster' requiring curfews and 22 hour home detention.
You realise the current road map keeps curfew, movement restrictions and similar business bans until October 26? And Victorians have already been in 10 weeks of atage 3/4 lockdowns. The reason its so harsh is because Andrews wants elimination at all costs for his personal redemption.
Only last week was stuff actually being done about contact tracing to prepare Victoria for future outbreaks. The Government has been dealing with the outbreak since late May when it escaped the hotels into family gatherings. What does that say to Victorians? Locked up for basically 6 months, but week before stage 4 ends contact tracing start tk be upgraded.
