@JoeGambler; I took one look at just how many 'managers' DHHS has according to its own website and thought to myself, you're kidding! Then I learned that rather than using high powered relational databases they use whiteboards, dots and hand-writing ... seriously?
Once the CHO started to give answers differing somewhat from Andrews I began wondering whether or not he's just a DHHS puppet or whether he's responsible for all those managers - either way my confidence in what he had to say took a dive.
Re the extension of the lockdown etc, regional Victorians have just had to grin and bare a Stage 3 lockdown exacerbated greatly by border restrictions even though we have no virus and have almost never had any. It sucks that we've been made to act as Sydney's shield - yet NO protests etc up this way, just lobbying from our hard-working mayors.
I think it will be a disaster for Melbourne if the Stage 4 lockdown runs much longer than another week. If that's what the CHO advises I hope Andrews has the commonsense to overule him and that other fool who mis-programmed the simulation computer with ultra-conservative contact tracing data.
