@ainsleym; if Andrews continues with Stage 4 restrictions even a day longer than Victorians believe he should, he'll have burnt the trust people have placed in him and the task of enforcing restrictions will become impossible. His announcement today of yet another round of massive support for business will buy him another couple of days but I have a gut feeling that next Sunday will need to see a move to Stage 3 or that'll happen anyway.
Re Chinese investment in Australia; there are media reports today that it's all but collapsed and crashing even further from $16 Billion in 2016 to roughly $1 Billion in 2020 as a direct consequence of Morrison's outbursts.
I therefore doubt that China is even interested in investing in Australia any longer as it redirects investment to developing countries.
