'Victoria Police are out of control'?
No, they are not out of control at all.
They in the control of the Victorian parliament, faithfully doing the will of that parliament, and plainly proving themselves to be an avowed enemy of the people.
They are the armed wing of the parliament, whose presence guarantees the continuance of the parliament: they are not our friends.
In those days when the police were the protectors of the people, someone pointed out that without the cooperation of the public, police work would be impossible; such was their reliance on public assistance.
I wonder if the so-called police of this land will ever try to recover the confidence of the people; I wonder will they even have it in their hearts to attempt a reconciliation; and if they did, could they ever be trusted?
