your words in god's ear! because I've got a $12 call expiring a week from now. somehow, I see BHP as a damp squib from the trader's point of view. they've been trading in a narrow range for as long as the DowJones, a matter of seven or eight days.

what's with the Dow then? why this indecision? let me paint a scenario. the washington thinktanks are going into overdrive burning the midnight oil, but cannot come to a conclusion. what are they concocting? how to get out of Iraq, of course!! if & when they do, the Dow will jump by 200 points with joy. life as we know it (on the sharemarket that is) will be worth living again. george's soldiers will come home to a hero's welcome, johnnie will be able to stop marching his tin soldiers up & down and his only problem will be how to pre-empt mark latham's promise to have the troops home by X'mas. in Iraq, there'll be a bloodbath to make pol-pot look like an incompetent amateur but who gives a stuff?

that's what's causing all this indecision, IMHO. get out of there! it's what they want isn't it? a couple of years from now, we'll be sending them our cricket team, just you mark my words!
