Churbro - the other group probably withdrew because they form part of the new group with David Breeze in some way. The name Andrew Jones is on both petitions so I imagine they have all got together and worked out a better arrangement.
Neko - we can only hope that the board senses what is probably inevitable and resigns prior to going to the trouble of calling a meeting. MEC has nothing to bring to the table other than its interest in PEP11 and i would be shocked if the proposal for David Breeze et al to be directors was voted down. But, there are a lot of jaded MEC shareholders out there, i know i was one of them for a time.
I truly believe David Breeze in control of the same capital raising vehicles he had in 2010, ie BPH, MMR, GBA, will be hugely beneficial to all of us. I really do hope David capitalises on the tax free status he himself obtained for MEC all those years again to complement the massive support he has through BPH.
