Hi Cara, The fact that Strathmount 1 has interpreted gas pay around 30 meters down dip of Odin and in the same objective horizon that Odin is targeting bodes well for Odin. Below are two maps at the Patchawarra VC50 Coal Depth Map cobbled together over the Vali discovery, Odin prospect and then in the lower left hand corner, the NE end of the Beckler-Bow Gasfield. The closing contour (red line) at Vali is at 2950m subsea and at Odin it is at 2900m subsea (red line), hence up-dip of gas already discovered and tested from Vali. Odin is a robust 4-way dipped closed structure, and as the JVP have pointed out, a look-a-like Vali opportunity. When funds become available at VEN, I reckon we will see a well at Odin toot-sweet.
I hope our JVP release an update on the shallower, Jurassic oil opportunities too.
