    I've literally explained why I think that's the case, in the thread that you quoted.

    APT received $69m in late fees last year. The majority of these late fees are incurred by a small % of APT users. And some of these users will be incurring fees that are greater than the monthly fees that these no-interest credit cards will offer.

    So for this small percentage of APT users, they may think that they have 3 options:

    1. Stay with APT, and change habit, and start paying on time/incurring less late fees
    2. Stay with APT, and continue the same habit, and incur same/similar late fees
    3. Continue with same habits, and move to a different product that will incur them less fees
