I live in Queensland Alan and things are not so bad here. Our State government seems to be doing a much better job than the NSW one which is where most people live. Things are not perfect here but overall IMO we are doing OK so not a lot to be critical about.
Federally the Liberal and Labor Parties have had similar policies on most matters for a long time now. They seem to grow closer together every year so it's not surprising it is becoming difficult to tell them apart Alan.
