Dave,of course business's were happy as they had a short term boost to their sales,BUt,remember,it was just a short term fix.
Wait until the next readings come out on retail sales and that will show how much of a quick shot it was .
Of course any stimulus package that is used will help various sections of the community and business.
Wonder what will happen when there are no more stimulus packages given or will Rudd just keep pumping them out as they are required.
I still think our slowing economy will go into recession sometime in next 12 mths regardless of what the govt does.
But at least they are trying to ease the damage.
