Yes, buy the rumour sell the fact. People will buy into the event and then sell when announced. I dont believe this happened though. The report was waffle and we got smacked as a result. The cynic in me does wonder if miners ever disclose "negative" news initially.
Not saying this is the case but what a windfall for any "new" entrants if true.
