"Maybe many aussies have had enough thats why things are getting out of hand, anyway 40 minutes from me a young dad flying the flag on his ute was cut off and gunned down as he got out of his car."
Yep......this incident, and the fact that it seems there was at least one occupant of the red car who was of Middle Eastern appearance, should guarantee that the Gold Coast will now become the flag waving capital of Australia for years to come.
One thing is for sure.....I won't spend next Australia Day on the Gold Coast. I made the mistake of spending it there this year and one needed only to see the number of flag-draped yobbos who were simply looking for trouble, to know that there would be plenty of brawling.....and there was.
Ask them to don a uniform and a slouch hat and go and fight for their country and they'd s..t themselves. But give them a gutful of rum and beer, surround them with like-minded, flag-draped fools, and they'll parade around like war heroes pretending that they're the last line of defence for our nation.......lol. Silly little twits....lol.
My sympathy is with the family of this guy that was killed. It seems that he did nothing to provoke any sort of trouble.
I have little doubt that if it was a person of Midddle Eastern appearance that committed this crime, that he had assumed that the flag-draped ute contained occupants who were using the flag to try to 'have a go' at him and other Australians of ME descent....just like many others that he would have encountered on our national day of celebration. He would understand the mindset.
But ask any of them if that's what they're trying to do with the flag, and of course, their cowardly instincts would guarantee that they wouldn't have the courage to admit it. They would choose to appear aghast at such a suggestion.
From what I observed on Australia Day, it is a distinct possibility that he was the victim of some fool who, for one reason or another, had become stirred up by prior goings-on on that day. All completely inexcusable of course......just like the way in which our flag is being used on this occasion.
Perhaps one day, even Johnny Howard might decide that it's time to speak out against these yobbos.......the same ones that he backed by selective silence after the Cronulla riots.
Yeah Johnny....you own a lot of this stuff you know...but like them, you wouldn't have the guts to admit it. The worry is Johnny, that it's very difficult to stop this stuff once it gains momentum. Any suggestions Johnny?? No, I didn't think so.
