AGL has a strategy for delivering renewable energy. https://www.agl.com.au/about-agl/who-we-are/our-strategy Gas has always been described as a transitional energy but if a new gas powered facility is built it might have a life of 40 years - how transitional is that? Also in the time it takes to build the gas generator much varied renewable energy will become available. There is a lot ready to be built it just needs Government regulation certainty to proceed and unfortunately it is not coming from this Government.
