    Sorry to high jack thread have a quick question. I’m not asking for financial advice I will confirm with accountant when he gets back to me but thought I’d ask the friendly day trader hot copper community

    if I’ve held a stock for over 12months then want to buy a parcel to day trade. When I sell the day trading parcel will I impact the 12month CGT holding or can I choose when to allocate my sale of the stock I’ve held for longer
