I'm not claiming to be an authority on this 29etc, and like everyone else, I feel gutted when I read this... absolutely sickened.... but one of the things it probably rams home, is just how difficult the job can be that is done by people who work in the Family Court.
A good friend of mine's wife worked in the Family Court. She was a marvellous person who did some fantastic work there and unfortunately died quite young.
Some of the nasty, emotive predicaments that they are required to try to resolve are unbelievably complex and sad, and almost invariably involve humans under extreme amounts of stress, anxiety, depression etc.
Inevitably, many of these people are sometimes not well educated, and inevitably there is sometimes a violent past. Sometimes this is not the case at all, and still we hear of people just snapping, and losing the plot.
Whatever the case, this type of thing is just completely inexcusable I realise. No one knows the answer except that it is crucial to society that people raise their children responsibly and with love and care. That is the only way things can improve as we go forward. The vicious circle has to be broken.
Unfortunately this poor little girl, hasn't had the benefit of that type of family.
