Lately, I have been contemplating if Trump or Biden is better for the world in the long run. IT is a matter of choosing a deal maker or an idealogue movement. ST Trump will improve the equity market conditions but the bigger issue of Globalisation has probably met its heydays. Our local economy is dominated by globalisation through which the commodity we exported is fueling it through Chinese rapid growth.
Objectively I can see how Scomo is pivoting to a consensus of smaller nations mutually sharing the same threat posed by their dominant trading partner. This is probably not a reactionary but a calculated move that had its roots in Turnbull's Govt. Now I read his son based in Singapore is quite vocal on Twitter propagating daddy's philosophy. Maybe start by cutting lose the Asian spouse?
