lets say i have being working in the middle east for the last 10 yrs on an Oil and Gas project, i am now made redundant i am a dual EU and Australian citizen, the Australian passport right now and for the foreseeable future is absolutely worthless
name one other OECD country who treats its own citizens like Australia does? There isn't one . There will be a huge run on expat Australians who work in some regions around the word, obtaining EU passports now by heritage now , as in a time of crisis its proven the be worthless and they will value the security of a second passport that is actually worth something if a crisis erupts and you are abroad.
