IMO an investment should be providing a return rather than requiring constant top-ups to maintain the same % holding. This is also how people can become over exposed to a given investment. I believe there's a saying about throwing good money after bad?
Each person needs to find a trading strategy that works for them, if holding firm and participating in many CR's works for you then all power to you.
