I am against pokies and casinos but that argument seems to be a silly one to me,that is, knocking the stimulus package because some people may choose to blow it on pokies,casinos,cigarettes,etc. So because some people may do this, you deny the vast majority the opportunity to put decent food on their tables, buy some new clothes,get some new teeth, and in the case of families take a bit of the strain in preparing for the school year and all other things that child rearing involves.

Just a question Billybongo, I wonder whether the people who are going on about RUDDS fantastic stimulus package that has helped millions including industry, complained at all on the same basis when HOWARD handed out lump sums to pensioners etc. OR is the sentiment expressed by some of the knockers here just simply humming to the tune of their political bias? Excludes Alan Partridge and Pecora as their posts are not politically motivated.
