I think Dave is more interested in just having an argument here rather than exchanging opinions with you.
The social implications of people binging on poker machines are obvious - even if a small minority CAN handle the odd flutter, and even if there is another small minority of idiots who justify a weekly "donation" while whinging they never have enough money for other things.
But overall, a LOT of lives are being impacted by the addiction to catchy music and bright lights flittering across a video screen.
