Interesting development today. A few people are rightfully asking why they were not selling on Amazon earlier - this seems like a no brainer but if you will recall they signed an EXCLUSIVE agreement with Sky for the UK last year. This has now lapsed based on this announcement, given this is for AMAZON UK. While we don't have enough detail on UK sales - we will when the annual report gets released this month, there have been no announcements saying that this arrangement as been extended which speaks volumes.
Overall it's a nice headline and a positive announcement but I don't see it materially moving the dial.
As holders will know, I keep saying it's all about Christmas sales and we're approaching the key selling period. What they do over the next few months will dictate price action for the Group.
In the meantime I thought I'd re-post this from an old investor presentation, which shows the adjacent markets that are possible - in addition to new geographic markets. We've now covered off 1 of the 3 listed below. GLTAH
