Looking at the photo in this tweet its easy to miss something.

The something is the nothing. By nothing I mean no villages, no towns no settlements, no people living there, no livestock, virtually no plants no forrest and virtually no wildlife.

But a workforce available, and the main coastal highway and water all max of 15 KM away in the case of the roads and water or less than an hours drive for the workforce.

Chileans are very much family people like most latinos so they wouldn't want to sleep on site, they love home, theres a massive saving straight up.
Drive in drive out workforce.

But moreso the massive savings of the nothings, the low biodiversity and lack of endemic population makes it so so much easier and cheaper to develop.

Even in the exploratory phase, if want a road and we want it tomorrow, higher or lower doesn't matter to do some drilling its just grade one and off we go. Blast and grade if we need to. No consideration of waterways or that you are grading through a village chiefs pastures. There are no pastures and no village chiefs.

This is easier than mining in central Australia, this is as easy as it gets really...there is nobody and nothing there but us and we are the first ones there in quite some time.... one of the most agriculturally infertile deserts in the world...perfect for gold mining!!

All that nothing (besides the gold) is worth quite a lot...once the market gets its head around how big El Zorro is and how straight forward it will be to mine in a Tier One pro mining country like Chile we will rerate massively IMO.
