Arnold Caplan, “The father of MSC’s” basically comes right out and says that scientists still don’t know the precise mechanism of action of MSC’s. This is an extraordinary claim.

One of the FDA’s usual requirements for new treatments is a clear understanding of the mode of action. If Mesoblast’s Ryoncil were to be knocked back for approval, this would almost certainly be the reason why.
