The problem as I see it is not BCS not informing its investors. BCS would have done that clearly on its prospectus.
The problem is the system that has allowed those investors sell their holdings without disclosure to the uninformed / naive online traders,
The system needs some controls to stop and warn the naive what they're getting into.
Even now there are many millions available for 10 to a cent to anyone who presses the buy button. Any uninformed punter could be tempted to chuck in a grand or two without realising the worst case scenario is not that they finish up worthless and in fact there is a liability attached.
