well that’s true. Every low down unseemly act we’ve seen over many years is American politics. So are protests. As democracy appears to be dying its last gasp in the US that too is American politics. I guess it doesn’t bother you. Principles seem to matter less than some rabid mob for whom self interest and power matter more.
It’s an ugly system and that American has the gall to see itself as the leader of the free world is laughable. They surely lead in crass materialism, narcissistic leadership and lack of respect for people and institutions designed to protect decency. They have modelled cunning and control. They act out of self interest dressed up as ensuring freedom while they savage and ravage other countries so carelessly. They show little regard for ordinary people struggling day to day. Their culture and politics have become increasingly ugly.
