Firstly ctindale, I'm thoroughly versed on how gold holds its value in deflation relative to everything else. Secondly, you didn't really answer my question. You simply repeated how you think things will play out and why (all with sound logic).

But if your wrong and inflation wins out, what will be the trigger for you to realise that and how will it play out.

Or are you so certain with your analysis that your not even entertaining the possibility?
