I mentioned many times before that debt is a concern for zip,however, not to the extend that the company would be insolvent. Lets say if people default on $40 payment, the banks would hurt the most as the default rates on home loans are going to be significantly increased. Lenders are not only zip, banks are the biggest lenders for everything. its a domino effect in the whole society and no company can run from it including Zip. The whole credit/debt system has been running over a century. Zip/Apt just repackaged it.
Using debt for downramping is very naive. The paypal thing has now already priced in the current share price. The real threat at the moment is the potential raise of interest rate in the future. That kills a lot of margin that zip makes. And that scenario isnt going to happen in the near future as what Jerome Powell has assured the market.
