    John would be an excellent candidate given his shareholding and industry experience.

    Its easy for John to be appointed a director.

    EGL is required by law to give notice to the market when nominations to appoint directors at the forthcoming AGM close.

    Haven't seen such a notice so must be some time off.

    John simply has to consent to being a director and nominate for his appointment at the forthcoming 2020 AGM to be held on 19 November.

    As simple as that.

    If I was EGL I would be chasing John to appoint him.
