In my opinion, it will be good. Any work place that is hostile and toxic is a negative, so a change is nothing but good.

Australia and the government will be forced to develop recycling facilities to properly manage Australia's ongoing waste volumes. Cleanaway will benefits regardless because of this macro trend and technological advancements in recovery processing. The management team is responsible for how much of the pie the company gets in all of it, and if it is executed at a profitable run-rate. There are plenty of other large competitors, Suez, Veolia and JJ Richards come to mind. Most of which have big if not bigger balance sheets. It's a competitive industry run on sometimes small margins like airlines, just not as bad... yet.

I'm hoping we get someone with previous experience from the European region to lead the company shall positions be terminated, only because they tend to be on top of waste-to-energy facilities and recycling technology. They could potentially bring some news ideas to the table.

The problem ultimately still lies with the public perception of waste (odour and health implications), Australian politics and every Aussie thinking their opinion written on Facebook means something. That's the biggest hurdle in all of this.

    Cheers,
