so in essence if you divide the possession of the ball 50/50 you play around 30 mins of the game on the field
that 30 mins is spread over arduous 2 or more hours

about 4 more if they make the finals
total of a massive 10 HOURS of actual ON FIELD performance a year
on top of that they wear pads
bloody sissies
but for that effort, they get paid about 30million a year
not bad if you put that into an hourly rate
