Re suicides, family breakdowns, job losses etc, reports indicate that there are indeed alarm bells ringing in that regard. Then again, deaths from other infectious diseases such as the flu are way lower than normal and if COVID-19 had been allowed to run amok those figures may well have been very much worse.
