I try to follow as many stocks as I can, regardless of whether I hold or not...and as a former holder in OXR, ZFX and the the merged entity, I still have an active interest in the fortunes of OZL. My father-in-law holds a considerable position in OZL, my brother-in-law is senior management at Golden Grove, and a number of my friends also work there, so yes, I do hope that it all ends well.

As for your assertions about what some of the better posters here do, well I consider Macrae12 to be the best poster on this site hands down, yet he actively engages in discussions in stocks he does not hold, and questions assertions and comments passed here on a regular basis.

When I read posts such as takeover offers are imminent at $2, I see no harm in challenging those assertions, and present reasoning, not one liners...posters are free to disregard or heed as they wish...if you do not wish to read any comments I pass in relation to OZL or any other stock, you have the option of the ignore function.

Roboshan, I don't think that bankers share the same sense of patriotism that you possess. I don't think it matters to them whether their interest is paid to them by a goat-herder or a wall street banker, an Australian company or one from anywhere else, as long as their debt is paid in a timely fashion. Their allegiances lie with their bottom lines only.
