No A - maybe a knee to the parts in question will fix that?
Not a word!!
Angry - had we not been so well prepared, I believe the meeting would have been over in 5 minutes - and he'd have had it easy shutting down all talk - but we were well prepared, and the ASA rep made it clear that we had legal rights to be heard.
So nearly two hours including the poll count was pretty good....
The part that upset me most was that he said in hte pre meeting spiel that he'd allow reasonable discussion - but then DIDN'T allow 'reasonable discussion.
In fact one shareholder wnated some reasonable discussion and had to sit down as it didn't relate to that particular resolution.
It was quite funny though as his parting words were "Mr Chairman I believe you've told me all I need to know"
Then the company withdrawing resolutions 13 and 14 for lack of support in fact negated ANY conversation being permitted on them - so we couldn't quiz as to why the options issue was blocked by the Global shares.
So all in all, he did a grand job for the company, but not as easy as he thought he'd get it thanks to Doug from the ASA.
