do you think the idea of shifting water down from the top end is plausible though? it could reinvigorate the Murray-Darling, most of the rainfall runs out to sea anyway it would be good to capture some of that and take it where it's desperately needed...Richard Pratt has been banging on about this for years...financed by water bonds.
