Assuming the metallurgy for the reported holes is favourable for DSO, and indications so far are positive, we have around 3.75 million tonnes of DSO in the holes 194-197 and 201-204.
This is based on the estimate given in the recent quarterly; "By way of illustration, assuming a 3Mtpa output and an average 4m mineralisation
thickness, the Company will need to mine the area tested by about two of its current
500m x 500m spaced holes annually."
We need the area represented by 4 of the 250x250m holes to equal that of the 500x500m, thus 8 to equal the 2 required at 2m thickness, or 16 x 1m. In the 8 holes (which average out to exactly 30% phosphate) we have the equivalent of 20 x 1m, giving the approximate 3.75 million tonnes.
This is highly encouraging for the Arruwurra initial infill drilling results. I think that the comments made earlier on the thread that DSO is virtually a given are correct, and we have at least a years worth in that corner of Arruwurra alone.
