Its an odd throw of the dice but why wouldnt the banks take a bigger equity stake in the d4 and pay out the bondholders? That would leave them in complete control without a possible hicup and compounding intrest. I guess as it unfolds we will get to see how much the trustee will represent the note holders .If it was me doing the planning i would like not to see something left to chances .The notes will have to be addressed in the dealing this time round in my view.And i am still not sure how big a stake banks or instutions have in this area.Do the banks have an unsecured exposure in this area of bnb? I havnt been able to find out who the large note holders are.
