Many weeks ago, i had the same issue, tried to apply for a Humm account to see how the business worked at a practical level - dont need the finance or the credit. I was told with no reason my application was denied. After filing a complaint, I got the same answer.
I am on a 6 figure salary with no defaults or ANY bad credit history... yet I know people who are unemployed being approved on the spot... I looked past this and continued to 'hold and hope' but I am now completely out of this one.
May look at this again in the future but clearly some issues with their credit check process.
