I'd say they are closer to stuffed than safe as houses.
Though they do still a bit of oompmh, with a population getting close or at 40% over 65 and a retirement funding shortfall in the billions if not trillions it aint all roses and chocolate...As with most ponzi scheme society the youth coming into the work force now can't pay enpough tax to cater for the growing retirees that is going to continue and get worse into the future
