Someone earlier today shared an opinion about the possibility of NVX getting taken over in the near future. I've wondered the same thing but been waiting for more proof of product to come to light.

So far, as no actual supply contracts are 100% locked in, and we have received minimal specific product info, it's hard to put a fair value on NVX. It's hard to work out the real demand in the market place. Most of the garbage being thrown around on here isn't a reflection of the true demand. We don't actually know yet. The whole battery / electric movement is still early days and everyone is guessing.

If they confirm the Samsung contract and publicly and openly inform people of the quantities that will paint a clearer picture. Then, someone may very well taken this tech out. If the demand is there and the tech is as good as the glossy presentations suggest, it's highly likely.

It's not a great reflection when a company is vague on order size and leave it at 'doing their due diligence'. Commercial in confidence statement is often used to hide behind. They could openly say how much companies want, but they can't yet cause the amounts aren't locked in.

It would also make sense to have boots on the ground in the US. I've often thought that Phillip St Baker was out of his depth and wasn't really doing much anyway. He's probably facilitated some key conversations / meetings and always taken the info back to Daddy. Its my opinion that Trev is the decision maker. Remember he's the one whose been mainly funding this. Baynton was always there for a pay day. Nothing more.

I'm not sure that Burns is the man to run it. He'll need to step up now and show he has the business acumen as well as the scientist brains to run the business. Otherwise, he's just got given a title.

The flip side here, that no one wants to talk about is maybe Greg cashed out for a reason. Maybe Phil is distancing himself for a reason. Just because there's a board with big names on it doesn't meant the company is gonna make it. NVX is still high risk spec. It hasn't been derisked anymore now than 6 months ago. A 100% locked in agreement is the next derisking event. Money in the bank helps, but cheap money is easy to get. As they just proved.

Unless they have supply agreements to deliver shortly the share price will probably dwindle, with plenty of erratic behaviour. The big boys are in this now and they love the games and you've just witnessed. $2.40 - $1.20.

Interesting times ahead. Please keep open eyes and do not believe everything you read on here. DYoR and read up on the company. Got back through all the Ann's and leave emotion out of it.

I'm sure he's the original CEO of Novonix isn't he? Built it up to be acquired by Graphitecorp.

That's a fairly solid start in business if that is correct.

In saying that, I'd rather see the head science brain remain a scientist
