You do sound to me like you are describing what has happened recently not what the future holds. As for rallies - I can't remember how many - but during the Great Depression there were in fact several rallies - and yes stocks gained almost 90 odd %. Albeit I don't like drawing too many conclusions based on the Great Depression - that is after all Bernanke's forte lol
