15 years of processing have only ever seen one mill bearing failure, that was at Sino iron on a seimens sag mill. It's not normal at all, catastrophic bearing failure on mills almost never happens due to temperature and vibration sensors hence planned maintenance shutdowns. When it does happen and it's after a shutdown I'll leave it to to your imagination why . Could be a few jobs up for grabs I'd imagine. Hmmmmmm
