I agree with you.
Such an integral component would have monitoring as part of it's design I'd assume so some questions need to be answered.
Interesting to note the 'root cause' has been identified but eerily remains undisclosed ? WTF ?
There's no bigger protagonist for Gold Road than myself but this has put a dent in my armour.
The only excuse I can find is the failure occurred before production resumed after planned shutdown so conceivably they could say it was simply an extension of downtime but seriously the issue should've been reported immediately.
We're fairly switched on around here Duncan.
