Yes, that nominee is off the BOD but Appian, for all we know, still hold their 30 odd %, don't they? Perhaps they didn't think much of that guy and want more input into the actual running of PEK. There could have been personality clashes, all sorts of disagreements. Ever served on a BOD? These things do happen and will eventually sort themselves out.
